Tibeto-Chinese, 18th c.

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with her principle hands in front of her, originally holding attributes, both upper ones damaged and holding the lotus flower, wearing sari, cape draped around her shoulders with its streamers encircling both arms and its finials curling up, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, urna at her forehead, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, her hair combed in a chignon and secured with a tiara, unsealed.
From an old private collection in southern Germany, supplemented by inheritance in the 1950s and acquisitions in the 1960s to the 1980s - Right hand lost, slightly chipped, minor wear
